Next-Generation Ring-Type Planar Driver
The LETSHUOER Astralis features a proprietary 15.5mm 5th-generation ring-type planar diaphragm driver. It utilizes a circular planar diaphragm with a ring-shaped nanometer-grade magnetron-sputtered dual-sided voice coil, paired with a PTR elastic film surround. This architecture reduces cone break-up and distortion, while the double-sided voice coil configuration lowers the resonance frequency and enables a faster transient response. The result is a lush, dynamic sound with powerful bass, stable driver performance, and a wider soundstage compared to conventional planar drivers.

The driver is driven by a 4+4 ring-shaped fully symmetrical N52 high-performance magnet arrangement. This optimized magnetic circuit improves efficiency and bass response, working in tandem with the ring-type voice coil wiring to deliver a clean and accurate reproduction across the full frequency range.
